On 16 October 2018 meeting regarding child protection policy within EU project “Equal rights – Equal Pay – Equal Pensions” – Expanding the scope of implementation of gender equality actions and legal standards towards achieving gender equality and combating poverty in Croatia was held in the office of The Ombudsperson for Gender Equality. Child protection policy will be used by employees, partners and associates of the Ombudsperson for Gender Equality who work directly with/have contact with children in following activities: survey, education and video.
Relevant topics for discussion were: personal data protection, prevention of data misuse and child protection mechanism. Participants were: Josip Šipić, Institute for Social Research in Zagreb, Anamarija Tkalčec, CESI – Centre for Education, Counselling and Research. Representatives of the Ombudsperson for Gender Equality: Višnja Ljubičić, Ombudsperson for Gender Equality, project manager – Coordinator of EU project, Mladenka Morović, project assistant, Josip Grgić, Sanda Brumen, project coordinator, Srđan Kerčević, project coordinator of EU project VAWA.
