On 19 October 2018 project “Equal rights – Equal Pay – Equal Pensions” was presented at the Congress of law students. The Ombudsperson for Gender Equality attended the 10th Congress „70 years of Universal Declaration of Human Rights“ organized by association “The Jurist” and sponsored by President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. Many experts, scientists and practitioner participated in three-day congress. Martina Strunjak, advisor in the institution of Ombudsperson for Gender Equality presented antidiscrimination laws and described discrimination cases, aim was to raise awareness about gender based discrimination in our society.
Srđan Kerčević, project coordinator of EU project VAWA presented project “Building more effective protection: transforming the system for combating violence against women“ and Sanda Brumen, project coordinator presented project “Equal rights – Equal Pay – Equal Pensions”.
