Meeting regarding media campaign on the occasion of European Equal Pay Day on the beginning of November including performance events which will be organized by Ombudsperson for Gender Equality within project “Equal rights – Equal Pay – Equal Pensions” was held in the office of Ombudsperson for Gender Equality. The European Equal Pay Day date is calculated on this Eurostat figure and symbolizes when women across the EU would stop earning for the rest of the year in comparison to men. Participants were: representatives of the Ombudsperson for Gender Equality: Višnja Ljubičić, Ombudsperson for Gender Equality, project manager; Mladenka Morović, project assistant; Sanda Brumen, project coordinator and Mario Kovač, director of performance.
