Project “Equal rights – Equal Pay – Equal Pensions” was presented in Bruxelles on 26-27 June 2019

Information and networking meeting – REC (Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme) projects on empowerment of women and combatting gender-based violence was held in Bruxelles on 26-27 June 2019. At the beginning of meeting programme and financial management was presented by DG Justice and Consumers (European Commission). Dr. Silvia Scarpa and Kate Doyle talked  about best practices for monitoring and evaluation, measuring the impact of interventions and applying behavioural insights. Good practice examples from other stakeholders’ projects regarding balancing private and professional lives, gender pay/pension gap, and gender-based sterotypes in labor markets were discussed and latest findings from research on Gender Equality were presented by dr. Heejung Chung.

The Ombudsperson for Gender Equality is the holder of the European project “Equal rights – Equal Pay – Equal Pensions” which was presented by coordinator Sanda Brumen and Marita Grubišić-Čabo, researcher from partner organization Institute for Social Research in Zagreb.
