Ombudsperson held lecture in Osijek

Ombudsperson for gender equality, Višnja Ljubičić, participated in public discussion „Barriers to achieving right to work“, activity within project Pokreni, organized by women’s group „Izvor“ from Tenja, in partnership with Association of deaf-blind persons of the city of Osijek, Osijek-Baranja county and city of Osijek. Ombudsperson held lecture „Women in the labour market“ and explained gender pay and pension gap, female unemployment rate, fixed term contracts, age and maternity – labour market barriers. She also presented EU project “Equal rights – Equal pay – Equal pensions” and recommendations for improvement of status of women in the labour market from Annual Report of the Ombudsperson for Gender Equality of the Republic of Croatia.
