Ombudsperson for Gender Equality in cooperation with CESI (Centre\nfor Education, Counselling and Research) organized workshop \u201eEquality for all\u201c\nin hotel Academia from 14-15 October 2019., activity within project \u201cEqual\nrights \u2013 Equal Pay \u2013 Equal Pensions\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aim of the education is to raise awareness abount gender pay\nand pension gap and achieve gender equality and combating poverty in Croatia. Topics\nduring workshops were: project activities, issue of equal pay and pension; sex\nand gender; education and inequality at the labour market, balancing private\nand professional life… Institution from Belgium (Instituut voor de gelijkheid\nvan vrouwen en mannen) presented good practices in achieving equal pay and\npension in Belgium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Workshops were held by Anamarija Tkal\u010dec (CESI-Centre for\nEducation, Counselling and Research), Jasna A. Petrovi\u0107 (Retired Persons\u2019 Trade\nUnion of Croatia),Hildegard van Hove (Instituut voor de gelijkheid van vrouwen\nen mannen) and Sanda Brumen (Ombudsperson for Gender Equality). There were 68\nparticipants from institutions\/organizations\/schools: students from school of\neceonomics, school of electrical engineering, endustrial engineering school, nursing\nschools, representatives of Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of\nPublic Administration, Ministry of Labour and Pension System, Ministry of\nMaritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, Ministry of Regional\nDevelopment and EU Funds, Ministry of Demographics, Family, Youth and Social\nPolicy, Commissions for Gender Equality from several counties of Croatia, City\nof Zagreb, state agencies and bodies, Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological\nService, Teaching Institute for Public Health “Dr. Andrija \u0160tampar”, Croatian\nBank for Reconstruction and Development, companies (Zagreba\u010dka pivovara,\nPartner banka, Raiffeisenbank Hrvatska, Privredna banke Zagreb, Croatia\nosiguranje, INA and Kon\u010dar), unions (Retired Persons\u2019 Trade Union of Croatia, Union\nof Autonomous Trade Unions of Croatia, MATICA \u2013 Association of Croatian Trade\nUnions, Unions of graphic and publishing activities of Croatia), non-governmental\nassociations (B.a.B.e., Victim Support Associations and CESI). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Next workshop will be held in Split (19-20 November 2019), Rijeka (12-13 December 2019.) and Osijek (23-24 January 2020). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
