Ombudsperson for gender equality in cooperation with CESI\n(Centre for Education, Counselling and Research) organized workshop \u201eEquality\nfor all\u201c in Split, in hotel Park, from 19-20 November 2019., activity within\nproject \u201cEqual rights \u2013 Equal Pay \u2013 Equal Pensions\u201d. Aim of the education is to\nraise awareness abount gender pay and pension gap and achieve gender equality\nand combating poverty in Croatia. Topics during workshops were: project activities,\nissue of equal pay and pension; sex and gender; education and inequality at the\nlabour market, balancing private and professional life. Institution from\nBelgium (Instituut voor de gelijkheid van vrouwen en mannen) presented good\npractices in achieving equal pay and pension in Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Workshops were held by Anamarija Tkal\u010dec (CESI-Centre for\nEducation, Counselling and Research), Igor Kne\u017eevi\u0107 and Jasna A. Petrovi\u0107\n(Retired Persons\u2019 Trade Union of Croatia), Hildegard van Hove (Instituut voor\nde gelijkheid van vrouwen en mannen) and Sanda Brumen (Ombudsperson for Gender\nEquality). There were more than 40 participants from non-governmental\nassociations (Bijeli Krug, Klub u\u010denja, Mi, Bussines Women Club, Srednje\ngodine, Domine, \u017denska grupa Split, CESI), Union of Autonomous Trade Unions of\nCroatia, Retired Persons\u2019 Trade Union of Croatia, Social Welfare Center Split,\nUniversity of Split (Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Science, Health studies),\nSchool of economics, Technical School Zagreb, Center for education, City of\nSplit, Commissions for Gender Equality in Split, Radio Dalmatia and Institute\nfor Social Research in Zagreb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Next workshop will be held in Rijeka (12-13 December 2019) and Osijek (23-24 January 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
