Ombudsperson for Gender Equality in cooperation with CESI (Centre for Education, Counselling and Research) organized two-day workshop \u201eEquality for all\u201c in Osijek in hotel Osijek, from 23-24 January 2020, activity within project \u201cEqual rights \u2013 Equal Pay \u2013 Equal Pensions\u201d. Aim of the education is to raise awareness abount gender pay and pension gap and achieve gender equality and combating poverty in Croatia. Topics during workshops were: project activities, issue of equal pay and pension; sex and gender; education and inequality at the labour market, balancing private and professional life\u2026 Institution from Belgium (Instituut voor de gelijkheid van vrouwen en mannen) presented good practices in achieving equal pay and pension in Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Workshops were held by Anamarija Tkal\u010dec (CESI-Centre for Education, Counselling and Research), Igor Kne\u017eevi\u0107 and Jasna A. Petrovi\u0107 (Retired Persons\u2019 Trade Union of Croatia), Hildegard van Hove (Instituut voor de gelijkheid van vrouwen en mannen) and Sanda Brumen (Ombudsperson for Gender Equality). There were 73 participants from institutions\/organizations\/schools: City of Osijek, City of Vinkovci, City of \u0110akovo, City of Valpovo, Osje\u010dko-baranjska county, Vukovarsko-srijemska county, Committee for Gender Equality of Osje\u010dko-baranjska county, Committee for Gender Equality of city Beli Manastir, Centres for Social Welfare (Osijek, Donji Miholjac, Vukovar), Health Center \u0110akovo, Central State Office for Sport, Women’s organization Izvor, Women’s organization Vukovar, Center for peace, nonviolence and human rights Osijek, Retired Persons\u2019 Trade Union of Croatia, Commercial trade union of Croatia, Republican Workers’ Union of Croatia, Matica-association of Retired Persons\u2019, The Croatian Employers’ Association, Nursing school, School of Economics and Administration, Electrical Engineering and Traffic School Osijek, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Faculty of Law Josip Juraj Strossmayer (University of Osijek), Belje plus d.o.o., Meggle Hrvatska, Osijek television, Institute for Social Research in Zagreb and CESI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
