Ombudsperson for Gender Equality Vi\u0161nja Ljubi\u010di\u0107 held lecture at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, within the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence. Ombudsperson presented meaning and importance of gender equality, national legal framework, international documents and policies related to gender equality and authority of the institution of Ombudsperson for Gender Equality. Ombudsperson introduced Annual report for 2018 and emphasized trends in monitored areas of: employment and labor, maternal and parental benefits, gender based violence, parental care, sexual and gender minorities\u2019 rights, education, media, sports, political participation and other areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
