Ombudsperson for Gender Equality Višnja Ljubičić held meeting with representatives of Croatian Bureau of Statistics: Lidija Brković, director general; Andrea Galić Nagyszombat, director of Statistical methodologies; Dubravka Rogić-Hadžalić, director of Quality and customer relations directorate; Dubravka Rogić-Hadžalić, director of Demographic and social statistics directorate; Katarina Litva and Snježana Varga from Labour market statistics department. Topics were data set which was deliverd to the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb for researches within the project “Equal rights – Equal Pay – Equal Pensions”, data avalibility and statistic analysis related to labour market, specially gender pay and pension gap and official Bureaus’ and Eurostat reports on these topics.
Ombudsperson emphasized that there is a need for deeper analysis to find causes of gender pay and pension gap, what is also aim of the of the project, and suggested cooperation in collecting and improving data bases.
Participants were: representatives of the Ombudsperson for Gender Equality: Mladenka Morović, project assistant; Sanda Brumen, project coordinator and representatives of partners organizations: Josip Šipić from Institute for Social Research and Igor Knežević from Retired Persons’ Trade Union of Croatia.
